Egmont Key– At the mouth of Tampa Bay on Florida’s West coast lies an unusual island.  First Charted by Spanish explorers in the early 1500’s, the footsteps of notable historical figures would mark the island’s sands in the centuries to follow.  Rich in history, home to endangered wildlife and unique in its geo-logical formation.  It’s a great Place to relax and collect shells along secluded, pristine beaches.   This island is home to the Gopher Tortoises, Box Turtles and several species of nesting birds such as Royal & Least Turns, Brown Pelicans, Ibis and Laughing Gulls.

Shell Key Preserve-Shell Key Preserve is a 1,828-acre preserve located in the mouth of Tampa Bay, which includes a 195-acre barrier island known as Shell Key. This is a perfect secluded getaway spot without having to travel far. The Preserve is an important sanctuary for nesting, wintering, and migrating birds, as well as a popular shelling area. Shell bags provided.

Passage Key-Passage Key is located between Anna Maria Island and Egmont Key in the mouth of Tampa Bay. The island is a busy place on the weekends due to its “natural” beauty and crystal-clear water. It’s a built-up sandbar that’s existed in varying forms since the 50’s. Nowadays, the sandbar has been designated a bird sanctuary.  Passage Key’s proximity to busy, Tampa/St. Pete makes it a popular destination during weekends and holidays.  Clothing Optional Water.  No Tan Lines!!  Adults Only Trip!
